Bright colors of a city scene now canvass the May Street side of 251 Danforth Street and another colorful cityscape mural under the Deering Avenue Bridge on I-295 are also marks of our handiwork. Led by Portland West End artist and former Service Works Supervisor Dave Marshall, young people had an opportunity to interact positively with adults and connect with the community. The project was funded in part by a grant from the Maine Arts Commission, an independent state agency supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. |
